GENERAL MANAGER – Precision Recruitment International

Our client within the manufacturing industry is looking to recruit a qualified and well-seasoned General Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate must meet the criteria listed within the minimum requirement and must possess the skill set required to execute the key responsibilities that follow.

Key Responsibilities
• Day to day management of the business.
• Developing and implementing growth strategies.
• Creating and managing budgets.
• Management of labor
• Presentation of reports (reports are already in use)
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Procurement of raw materials and management of suppliers.

Minimum requirements
• Degree in business management or a master’s in business administration.
• Good knowledge of different business functions.
• Strong people and process management skills
• Reasonable sales skills
• Must have managed a minimum of 20 labor with shift work included.
• Knowledge/ experience within the plastic industry is not vital but a bonus.
• Strong negotiation skills are an added advantage.
