Administration Manager that has arisen at St Giles Medical Rehabilitation Centre in Harare

JOB SUMMARY
The Finance and Administration Manager will play a critical role in overseeing all the financial and administrative functions of St Giles Medical Rehabilitation Centre. The manager shall be responsible for sound strategic financial management, strategic planning, leadership, general administration, timely accurate financial reporting, compliance and risk management. The manager will assist in establishing a culture of excellence and high business standards at the Centre.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
⦁ Strategic Planning – in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer develop strategies that support the goals of the Centre.
⦁ Budgeting and budgetary control – preparing of all budgets, overseeing all payments, ensuring that they are allowable, regularly review the Centre’s financial performance and recommend appropriate actions.
⦁ Cashflow Management – regularly monitor and manage the Centre’s cash flow to ensure financial stability and required liquidity.
⦁ Financial analysis, reporting and control – conducting financial analysis and providing insights to guide the decision-making process.
⦁ Overseeing the preparation and presentation of all financial statements in line with applicable standards.
⦁ Compliance management – ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and/or standards, Including but not limited to financial, legal, tax and accounting requirements and principles.
⦁ Risk management – championing the implementation of the integrated risk management process.
⦁ Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls across all key areas of the business.
⦁ Managing ad hoc, interim and year end audit process, ensuring clean audits, and ensuring that recommendations from the auditors are implemented.
⦁ Reviewing financial data and preparing ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports.
⦁ Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
⦁ Team Leadership – leading and mentoring the finance and administration team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
⦁ Corporate culture – cultivating a strong corporate culture of excellence and high standards; and encouraging collaboration across different departments.
⦁ Stakeholder Engagement – communicating the financial performance and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including donors, board members, and senior executives.
⦁ Championing the formulation and implementation of the Fund’s procurement strategies.
⦁ Developing effective procurement strategies, overseeing the entire procurement process and ensuring value-for-money procurement processes.
⦁ Managing all movable and immovable assets of the Centre to include fleet and logistics administration, general administration, procurement and grounds.
⦁ Liaising with contracted insurers and ensuring that all assets are insured, licensed, safe and secure.
⦁ Managing all tenants accordingly as per the contractual agreements and ensure business viability.
⦁ Ensuring facilities are operating as required on a daily basis and deal with any emergency issues as and when they arise from safety to security breaches.
⦁ Managing and monitoring subordinates’ performance by carrying out performance appraisals, Identifying training gaps and recommending appropriate training.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE SKILLS
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and a relevant Master’s degree an added advantage
⦁ Relevant professional qualification is a must.
⦁ At least 10 years work experience of which at least 5 years must be at Senior Management, preferably in a healthcare facility would be a positive.
⦁ Proficiency in accounting software platforms and advanced Excel skills.
⦁ Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
