Key Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the organisation’s financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Oversees budgeting, financial planning and forecasting to ensure effective resource allocation.
• Manages cash flow, treasury operations and working capital to maintain financial stability.
• Leads the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports in line with IFRS standards.
• Oversees accounts receivable, credit control, debt collection and banking operations.
• Ensures compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Develops and implements internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets.
• Analyses financial and operational performance and provides recommendations to senior management.
• Oversees administrative operations, including office management, procurement and vendor management.
• Manages departmental budgets, payroll coordination and operational expenditure.
• Collaborates with logistics and other departments on freight costs, import/export documentation and payments.

Requirements

• Degree in Financial Accounting with a professional accounting qualification.
• Chartered Accountant qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting and leading a finance department.
• Strong experience in financial planning, treasury management, budgeting and reporting.
• Solid knowledge of financial regulations, compliance and risk management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make strategic financial decisions.
