Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Selection of council employees.
• Administering the payroll and being proficient in the Belina Payroll System.
• Human Capital planning
• Facilitating the formulation of policies.
• Advising council on labour issues
• Managing production of council minutes
• Management of council assets
• Maintain and updating the council resolution book
• Preparation, Management and Control of departmental budgets
• Preparation and distribution of agendas and notices of meetings for council committees
• Coordinate and provide secretariat to all Council committees

Requirements

• Degree from a recognized University in Human Resources, Local Government, or Social Science degree.
• Relevant Master’s Degree, Diploma in Local Government or IPMZ is an added advantage
• Must be computer literate.
• A clean Class 4 driver’s license
• At least 5 years post qualification experience in middle or senior management in administrative position.
• At least 30 years of age and mature.
• A clean record of service.
