Position Overview
Zimbabwe Alloys Chrome is seeking a qualified and experienced ESG Manager to lead the development and implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies across the organization. This position is based in Harare and reports directly to the Head of Technical Services.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding ESG principles into the company’s mining operations and ensuring sustainable and responsible growth aligned with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ESG strategies, frameworks, and policies across the Group
• Provide expert advice to management on ESG trends, standards, and best practices
• Identify, assess, and monitor ESG-related risks and opportunities
• Conduct ESG awareness and training programs across Group mining sites
• Coordinate and manage ESG stakeholder engagement activities
• Establish and manage internal ESG reporting systems and track performance metrics

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ESG, preferably within the mining sector
• Strong understanding of ESG standards, sustainability reporting frameworks, and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to conduct ESG assessments and implement data-driven solutions
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
