Site visits to industrial plants, mines, or infrastructure projects are common.

How does work culture and employer expectations differ for Electrical Engineers in Zimbabwe?

Employers expect strong problem-solving skills and adaptability due to intermittent power supply challenges and aging infrastructure. Punctuality and respect for hierarchy are valued in most Zimbabwean workplaces. Engineers often work extended hours during critical projects, especially in mining and manufacturing sectors.

What career progression opportunities exist for Electrical Engineers in Zimbabwe?

With experience, you can advance to senior engineer, project manager, or technical director roles.
