Vacancy : Head of Learning Support at St John’s Preparatory School

St John’s Preparatory School invites applications for the position of Head of Learning Support. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic professional to lead and develop our Learning Support Department, ensuring that every boy is given the tools to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities and Expectations :

• The ability to develop the profile of the department through curriculum, systems and people.
• A deep passion for early intervention and support.
• Knowledge and skills to develop extension opportunities for learners.
• I.T skills in building integrated learning approaches.
• Experience in conducting assessments to identify and support learning needs.
• Strong skills in liaising and communicating with parents, offering guidance and feedback to support boys’ development.
• The ability to work with teachers while also providing visionary leadership to the Learning Support team.
• Ability to work with learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7.
• A commitment to embracing the ethos of holistic education and living out empathy, respect and integrity.
