Data Officer

Duties include:

Will be responsible for administrative and field provisions related to registration of households and the paper trail thereof for database management. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that people assisted registers are properly captured into the WFP database. Will ensure production of accurate household registers as well as beneficiary lists in accordance with established policies, systems and procedures; Responsible for data integrity and quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

A degree in the relevant field (preferably, Mathematics/Statistics/Operations Management) or related field; At least two years’ extensive experience in development work at community level; Prior experience in food assistance interventions, including in-kind food distribution; Ability to work in teams, communicate and coordinate with government departments and other agencies at various levels; Computer literacy in Excel, Word and other data management systems; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent data capturing skills; Local language proficiency.
