Introduction…

The IT Division is recruiting Computer Operators who will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems located within the Group Data Centers; especially the core banking system and peripheral systems that interface with the core banking system.

Minimum Requirements…

• HND/Degree in IT.
• Knowledge of T24 core banking system and related interfacing systems.
• Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.
• Knowledge of Data Centre operations.
• Clean class 4 driver’s licence an advantage
Job Specification…
• Executes end of day processes on the bank’s centralized Core Banking System after business hours.
• Coordinates with Vendor support desks in case of any errors encountered during processing.
• Monitors relevant systems availability daily, reviews logs and escalates processing errors to System Administrators for immediate resolution.
• Applies patches, fixes in the various production and test areas.
• Provides first line support for hardware and software issues encountered by system users.
• Carries out the system archiving schedules and secures the backup media in compliance with the established procedures.
• Regulates and monitors the environment conditions in the group Data Centers.
• Responds to and resolves helpdesk requests and provides help desk services for after-hours banking client support.
