COMMODITY TRADER/BROKER

Munisa Resources is seeking a Junior Commodity Trader/Broker to join our growing commercial team. The role focuses on agricultural commodities and minerals, providing hands-on exposure to deal origination, trade finance, logistics, and risk management. The successful candidate will work alongside seniors to source and close deals, prepare trade finance structures, manage logistics, and build strong counterparty networks across SADC supply hubs and global demand markets (Asia, Middle East, EU).

Key Responsibilities :

• Identify and follow up on new trading opportunities.
• Support pricing, negotiation, and execution of buy/sell contracts (spot and term).
• Prepare professional pitch decks, proposals, and client presentations.
• Assist with trade finance documentation (LCs, SBLCs, warehouse-receipt finance).
• Build and maintain a pipeline of clients and suppliers across SADC and international markets.
• Contribute to logistics coordination, including bonded warehouse and export/import operations.
• Ensure contracts and documents meet international standards (Incoterms 2020, UCP600/URC522).

What We Are Looking For :

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data/ICT, or related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive learner.
• Eagerness to develop expertise in commodities trading, finance, and risk management.

Desirable Skills :

• Internship or entry-level experience in sales, finance, or trading.
• Familiarity with trade finance instruments, hedging concepts, or commodity markets.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, SQL/Power BI, or advanced Excel.
• Valid Class 4 driver’s license.
