Commercial Farm Manager

Applications are invited from motivated and experience individuals to take up the role of farm manager that has risen within our organization.

Experience

The farm manager should be experienced in the following areas:

• Managing all day-to-day operations in grain production (maize, soya and wheat), horticulture & export related crops (potatoes, paprika, peas and citrus), and animal husbandry & other associated farming activities;
• Ensure the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and equipment; and
• Knowledge of overhead and drip irrigation is a must, while sales and marketing experience in the agriculture sector will be on added advantage.
• Ensuring that farm activities comply with government regulations.

Qualifications

The applicant should be innovative and hands on with minimum of:

• Diploma/ Degree in agriculture from a reputable and recognized institution.
• 15 years’ experience majoring in crops of which 5 years’ experience as a farm manager/ supervisor.
