JOB TITLE:                           CASH BOOK CLERK

Overall Job Purpose:

The primary focus of this position is full responsibility for cashbook function including bank reconciliations for the Authority’s bank accounts to the correct general ledger accounts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Maintain the integrity of the system as cash and the bank are high- risk areas prone to fraud and/or human error.

Qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of Higher National Diplomaorequivalentin Accounting / Finance from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting packages
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience
