The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting records, cash-ups, supplier reconciliations, stock-related documentation, invoicing, payments support, and general finance administration while reporting directly to the Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily sales, cash-up, and POS reconciliations accurately and within deadlines
  • Process and file supplier invoices, statements, and payment documents correctly
  • Reconcile petty cash, banking, and payment records with minimal errors
  • Check, capture, and escalate stock and cost control discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready accounting records

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting, accounts, bookkeeping, reconciliations, or finance administration in a fast-paced environment such as hospitality or retail
  • Progress towards ACCA, CIMA, CIS, SAAR, IAC, or an equivalent qualification
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and POS systems
