Key Responsibilities

Prepares accurate financial statements, reports, and management accounts
Maintains accounting records and ensures all transactions are properly recorded
Processes accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Monitors cash flow, budgets, and financial performance
Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
Manages payroll processing and related financial obligations where applicable
Coordinates internal and external audits and provides required documentation
Analyzes financial data and provides recommendations to improve financial performance
Maintains effective internal controls and financial management systems

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, or equivalent is an added advantage
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in accounting or finance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Knowledge of audit processes and statutory compliance requirements is an added advantage
