Accountant – CUT Hotels

Applicants must have at least five (5) Ordinary Level passes including English Language and Mathematics and a Higher National Diploma or Degree in Accounting and have at least three (3) years working experience in a similar environment. Knowledge of Pastel Accounting System is a pre-requisite and working towards a professional qualification will be an added advantage.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for preparation of Hotel Management and Financial Accounts, processing payment for both Creditors and Statutory Requirements and submissions of such returns to ZIMRA, collection of resources as well as attending to accounting related queries by customers, compiling bank reconciliation statements, maintenance of asset register, supervision of junior staff, ensuring established controls and procedure are adhered to and any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
