Mutare Diocesan Training Centre (MDTC) is seeking the services of mature and dynamic individuals to fill positions which have arisen within the organisation. The individuals should be self-starters, innovative and entrepreneurial oriented with a knack for results:

Holder of a professional qualification in food preparation and management, the individual should be business oriented with a passion for service and driven by a strong customer focus. As the team leader of the kitchen, the individual should have demonstrable knowledge in the food and beverages sector with at least 10 years post qualification experience.

The Key deliverables are:
i) Supervision of a team of assistants in the preparation of food/meals at the training centre
ii) Providing clear written instructions to subordinates in terms of all meals to be prepared as to achieve
superior and sought after customer satisfaction
iii) Research into current trends in the food and beverages of the hospitality sector and properly advise the
Administrator as to make the Training Centre, booking place of choice
iv) Prepare requisitions, assist in budgets and reports for all kitchen requirements
v) Ensure internal controls are observed and adhered to as to prevent wastage , pilferage and all forms of
vi) Prepare duty rosters for assistant cooks as well as manage kitchen staff deployment, leave days and
related human resource matters
vii) Ensure strict observance of municipal by — laws, industry specific standards , health requirements in food
sourcing, preparation, serving and disposal
viii) Promotion of health lifestyles through sourcing, ingredients composition and other evidence informed tips
