NOTICE OF VACANT POSITIONS

CORPORAL (CONTRACT) X 7

 

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the above mentioned positions within the Enterprise Risk Department. The incumbents will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be based at Nyanga, Chinyudze, Masvosva, Buhera, Rutenga, Wedza and Makambe Depots.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

 

➤ 3’O’ Level passes.
➤ A Certificate in Security and Risk Management or any equivalent qualification.
➤ At least one (1) year experience in related field.

 

 

CORE COMPETENCES

 

 

➤ High degree of honest and reliability
➤ Excellent practical behaviour and attitude.
➤ Ethical and good documentation skills.
➤ High degree of alertness.
➤ Knowledge of security internal procedures.

 

 

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

 

 

➤ Supervises, trains and monitors Security Guards.
➤ Patrols the area and protects the buildings.
➤ Ensures all Security Guards understand and perform their orders and duties.
➤ Maintains constant and adequate communication with the Guards on duty.
➤ Ensures Security Guards are rotated regularly within the depot/premises.
➤ Ensures that the GMB premises are adequately secured.
➤ Checks on Security equipment and uniforms.
➤ Performs any other supporting duties as may be assigned from time to time
