About the Role:
The Catering Industry Pension Fund (CIPF) seeks a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as its Principal Officer. This executive-level role is pivotal in ensuring long-term sustainability and optimal performance of the Fund, overseeing investment portfolios, financial reporting, compliance, HR strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Fund’s strategic direction, aligning it with its mission and objectives.
Oversee the investment portfolio, maximizing returns while managing risk and compliance.
Direct financial operations, including planning, budgeting, and transparent reporting.
Manage a diverse property portfolio, optimizing value through leasing, acquisitions, and development.
Develop and execute HR strategies that foster a high-performance culture.
Build and sustain stakeholder relationships with employers, members, and regulators.
Ensure regulatory compliance and strong governance across all operational facets.
Identify and mitigate institutional risk through proactive oversight and policy implementation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (advantageous).
Minimum 10 years of executive or senior management experience, ideally within insurance or pensions.
Deep understanding of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes.
In-depth knowledge of Zimbabwean pension legislation and corporate governance.
