Rolset Mitchel Enterprises Pvt Ltd t/a Metal Components Manufacturer is currently recruiting for the position of a Turner to join an engineering private limited company
based in Graniteside, Harare, Zimbabwe.

DUTIES

Work hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Mounting and dismounting workpieces on/from lathe.
Performing roughing and finishing operations.
Checking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawings.
Cleaning turning lathe and work area, e.g. removing swarf / chips.
Machining of steel components
Turning of lathe equipment and milling.

REQUIREMENTS

10+ years previous work experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
High school diploma + related qualifications, and certificates.
Ability to work independently.
Knows how to listen and follow instructions in a timely manner is essential.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical and blueprint drawings.
Ability to resolve mechanical or logistical problems that arise.
Must have a positive and professional attitude.
Must be a problem solver.
Ability to work weekends and overtime.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Outstanding mathematical skills.
