Key Responsibilities

• Prepares and inducts trainees on the workplace SHES management.
• Identifies fabrication and civil engineering training needs and designs the skills development plan.
• Produces and maintains fabrication engineering training resources, equipment, and records.
• Designs, develops, and conducts competency-based fabrication skills training and development programs.
• Assesses and documents the competency of trainees during and immediately after a training program.
• Delivers in-class lessons on fabrication.
• Provides ad hoc advice (to management) as may be appropriate or upon request.
• Complies with all SHE-related rules and procedures.

Requirements

• Class 1 Artisan trained in Boilermaking.
• A national certificate in fabrication engineering.
• At least 5 years in a heavy industrial setup.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
• A Training qualification will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management skills with strict adherence to deadlines.
