DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the incumbents shal be responsible for the following among other duties: –
⦁ Perform on site installation, repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting for all FM Radio and analogue’Digital TV transmitters, and associated equipment and hardware.
⦁ Monitoring and optimization of Signal distribution and transmssionquakty
⦁ PCB maintenance, troubleshooting and precise repairs at a component level.
⦁ Perform installation, maintenance and repairs for all AC and DC electrical power system including but not Smited to UPS systems, battery banks, Electricity stabilisers, Electricity transfer switches and generators.
⦁ Operation and maintenance of sateite ground stations; including re-focusing rf necessary.
⦁ Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic and RF systems and equipment on site, and offsite.
⦁ Shiftwork.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
⦁ Diploma in Telecommunications, Radio Commumcation. Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
⦁ Understanding of broadcasting technologies
⦁ Basic ICT skis.
⦁ Knowledge of FM Radio. Analogue and Digital TV transmitters and accessories.
⦁ At least 1 year experience as an RF Technician in the broadcasting or telecommunications mdustry.
⦁ Ab*ty to work without supervision.
⦁ VaSd class 4 Driver’s license.
