Key Responsibilities

  • Sells tailor-made solar and power solutions to household and industrial customers, and identifies and recommends strategic High Value Customers (HVCs) for sign-up as resellers.
  • Initiates and designs offers, incentives and retention deals to win customers from the competition, lock in existing customers and prevent churn.
  • Prospects for new business through presentations, assists with energy-usage estimations and prepares quotations customised to different customer requirements.
  • Develops and manages relationships at all levels within the allocated portfolio, plans account growth per customer and manages High Value Customers within the territory.
  • Offers first-line technical support and troubleshooting for solar installations, conducts routine maintenance visits, and identifies and coordinates strategic partner product training.
  • Drives TowerCo colocation growth by generating leads through localised market surveys, gathering prospective tenants’ energy and structural-loading requirements, and monitoring tenancy ratios to attract new tenants to underutilised sites.
  • Serves as the site-level point of contact for tower tenants to ensure SLA adherence, and manages ground-level relationships with local authorities and landowners hosting towers.
  • Captures and reports on competitor activity, product-customer misalignment and key market developments, and develops and recommends territory and key account development plans.
  • Leverages AI and innovative tools to compile and analyse sales, churn and lead data, generate actionable insights, improve pipeline performance and automate reporting against KPIs including revenue vs target, pipeline value, conversion rate and retention.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
  • 6 ‘O’ Levels including English and 2 ‘A’ Level passes.
  • A vocational qualification in power engineering is an added advantage.
  • 2 to 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar or related environment.
  • Core skills: solution selling and key account management, customer acquisition and retention, market intelligence and territory management, and data analysis and AI-driven reporting.
