Technical Sales Manager
The position of a Technical Sales Manager has arisen in a stock feeds manufacturing plant. This position reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse current market information.
- Develop and implement national strategies.
- Provide after sales support to customers.
- Serve existing customers to promote repeat business.
- Develop and manage relationships with all customers.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements — speaking with clients to under-stand, anticipate and meet their needs.
- Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential customers.
- Expand market awareness of company products.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor activities and recommend counter strategies. •
- Researching and analysing national needs and formulate strategies to respond to the needs.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and trainings for both staff and customers.
- Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, future plans and payment performance.

- Communicate any client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as needed.
- Develop and manage the national budget.
- Submit monthly plans and activities for follow-up to the Sales and Marketing Manager
Qualifications and Experience
- HND/Degree in Animal Science or any related qualification.
- Vast knowledge of stock feed industry, broiler and layers rearing.
- At least 3 years’ experience.
