TECHNICAL OFFICER – Standards Association of Zimbabwe 871 views

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions that have arisen within the Standards Association of Zimbabwe:

Location: Harare Main Responsibilities

• Carrying out tests or inspections on samples received in house or on site.• Testing / inspection methods evaluations, appraisal• Compiling laboratory test or inspection reports accordingly• General maintenance, and upkeep of equipment• Assisting in the training of junior staff• Participate in standards development as a technical expert

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering • Higher National Diploma will be an added advantage• Qualification in NDT or Inspection• Knowledge of ZWS ISO/IEC 17020 or 17025 management system is an added advantage

Experience

• 2 years’ experience in industry
