SENIOR CONSULTANT – CORPORATE FINANCE

 Key performance Areas

• Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation computations
• Project management including capital raise, transaction advisory and any Other corporate finance projects.
• Analysing financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions and trend
• Conducting comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis
• Maintaining and updating investment database and liaison with investment partners
• Developing financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting
• On an ongoing basis, assist in identifying and report on practical challenges to investment attraction and economic development in the country

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or any related field from a recognised university
• Membership with a professional body
• Studying towards a professional qualification such as CFA, CFI, CIMA or related professional bodies.
• Masters’ degree in Finance is an added advantage
• At least 3 years’ experience at Senior/Managerial level in corporate finance
• Proven track record in capital raising, transaction advisory and related corporate finance activities
• High level knowledge and application of AML procedures and design of related AML systems.

• Strong Project management skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical competencies
• Appreciation of Financial Technology and trending financial analysis tools.
• Familiarity with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL and Business Objects) is an added advantage.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Advanced level Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and any other virtual financial analysis software
