SECURITY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN

• We are looking for a smart, well presented, fast learning individual who understands and has worked with various brands of alarm panels (doing installations and programming).• Simultaneously, you will also have worked with the various CCTV brands and products doing remote setups, installations and troubleshooting any problems with AHD and IP.• With a minimum of 1-2 years’ of Experience in Electronic Security (CCTV, Alarm Systems, Gate Automation, Access control)• Ability to work in extreme environments (i.e., hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, attic, basements, etc.)• Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, and on be on your feet for long periods of time.• Must thrive in team environment• Must have a drivers licence and a clean driving record

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Pulling inventory for each installation job• Pre assemble job components in warehouse• Mounting hardware• Running various cables (CAT6) may need to access attics and basements.• Clean up of job site after installation• Practice safe work practices• Customer interaction – either face to face or telephonically offering technical support and advice wherever needed in both our alarm and CCTV arenas.• Assisting the sales team to close deals by attending client meetings with the sales executive.• Understanding opposition and their products.
