Zimbabwe Power Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated persons to fill the following positions that have fallen vacant at Hwange Power Station.
Section Engineer – Plant Performance X 1 Post REF: ZPCH002/04/21
Reports to Engineering Manager at Hwange Power Station
Duties And Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Prepares programmes and guidelines for carrying out plant efficiency tests.
• Analyses the use of coal, water. diesel using plant performance statistics.
• Prepares the final reports on the status/condition of plant before and after major overhauls.
• Sets and reviews performance targets for subordinates.
• Compiles the capital and expenditure budget for the section.
QUALIFICATIONSAND EXPERIENCE
• Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline
• Membership of the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers (ZIE)
• 6 years Post Graduate experience
