Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company’s products.
  • Prospect for new customers
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up enquiries and convert sales leads into confirmed orders.
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations and sales calls to generate new business.
  • Meet agreed monthly sales targets and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Advise customers on suitable products, pricing and specifications based on their requirements.
  • Coordinate with production, stores and delivery teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market demand and customer feedback and report to management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five Ordinary Level subjects, including Mathematics and English.
  • A Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • At least three years of proven sales experience, preferably in hardware, timber, furniture, construction materials or interior solutions.
  • Must be mature, professional, confident and capable of dealing effectively with different customers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, prospecting, presentation and closing skills.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to prepare quotations, customer records and sales reports.
  • A valid driver’s licence and ability to conduct customer visits will be an added advantage.
