Econet InfraCo is hiring Sales Officers and Technical Sales Officers to grow solar and power sales, develop customer relationships, and support tower colocation growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell tailored solar and power solutions to household and industrial customers, and identify potential High Value Customers (HVCs) for reseller sign-up.
  • Use AI and other innovative tools to generate sales insights, improve pipeline performance, automate reporting and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Prospect for business through presentations, support energy-use estimates and prepare customer-specific quotations.
  • Manage customer relationships, plan account growth and develop HVC accounts.
  • Provide first-line technical support for solar installations, conduct maintenance visits and coordinate partner product training.
  • Generate tower colocation leads through local market surveys, assess prospective tenants’ requirements and monitor tenancy ratios.
  • Support tower tenants with site-level coordination and SLA adherence, and maintain relationships with local authorities and landowners.
  • Track competitor activity, customer and product alignment, and market developments.
  • Analyse sales, churn and lead data, and report on KPIs such as revenue against target, pipeline value, conversion and retention.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Intelligence and Data Science, Sales and Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Six O-Level passes, including English, and two A-Level passes.
  • A vocational qualification in power engineering is an advantage.
  • Two to four years’ relevant experience in a similar or related environment.
  • Skills in solution selling, key account management, customer acquisition and retention, market intelligence, territory management, data analysis and AI-driven reporting.
