The NBA is currently recruiting a projects officer under its business development unit.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of the Project Implementation Plan (PIP) and other key documents to support the project.
• Assisting with the development of the overall budget, conduct budget reviews and analyses for projects
• Assisting with resource mobilisation and grant applications.
• Interfacing with project contractors, keeping track of their deliverables and constantly updating the Senior Project Officer.
• Preparing regular reports to assist the Senior Project Officer to track the progress of project components to ensure schedules and deadlines are being met.
• Identifying project issues and possible solutions and bring them to the attention of the Senior Project Officer for action.
• Assisting senior team members with administrative functions
• Performs any other related duties.
• Reporting to the Senior Project Officer

Skills & Desirable Traits

• Dynamic professional with experience in project planning monitoring and evaluation of projects.
• Strong project management and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholder groups.
• Experience of using project management software

Qualifications
• A Bachelors degree in Agriculture Economics, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent is required.
• 2 years experience in a similar post.
