This role manages Monitoring and Evaluation systems within the Christian Aid Cyclone Idai response in Zimbabwe to allow for effective and accurate reporting. The position contributes towards building the response team and partner’s capacity to develop and use participatory approaches to monitoring and evaluation for effective project implementation for results. The role facilitates sharing of best practice and lessons learnt with external stakeholders as appropriate and develops and provides reference materials and quality information across the programme.

Do you have passion, knowledge, and experience to support Christian Aid in responding to Cyclone Idai in Zimbabwe? Can you promote effective and efficient monitoring and evaluation of programme activities by partners, centred on impact and outcomes? support our partners in delivering high quality emergency projects to affected communities? Can you support partners and the Christian Aid team to institute effective systems of tracking results for their work?
Further information
This role is either based in Buhera or Chipinge, supporting both locations. This role requires applicants to have the right to work in Zimbabwe where this position is based. The incumbent must be a permanent resident in Zimbabwe.
Contract terms: Initial contract is fixed term for 12 months. Renewal subject to performance and availability of funding.
