Qualifications and Attributes

• Minimum Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply
• A degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage
• Must be computer literate
• A clearance from ZRP

Key results areas

• Overseeing procurement of goods and services in line with the procurement regulations
• Prepare a procurement plan for the organisation
• Advice the accounting officer on procurement matters
• Producing monthly procurement reports for the Accounting officer
• Encouraging local suppliers to register with the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe
• Prepare bidding documents for the local authority
• Determine applicable procurement methods to be used when requests are received from departments
• Supervise staff in the procurement section
