Role Purpose:
We are seeking a results-driven Procurement Officer to manage sourcing and supply of construction materials. The role focuses on supplier management, cost optimisation, timely procurement, and coordination with internal teams to support efficient project delivery. The role reports to the Head Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source construction materials at best value and turnaround quotes within 24-48 hours
  • Manage, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers
  • Ensure quality control, minimise returns, and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely supply to client sites
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align demand and budgets

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 3 – 5 years’ procurement experience, preferably in construction or building materials
  • Strong negotiation, organisational, and Excel skills
  • Ability to engage effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams, to drive shared objectives and deliver results
