Norwegian people’s Aid (NPA) Is one of the leading organizations working in mine action worldwide. 70 countries are affected by landmines, cluster munitions and other Explosive Remnants of war, NPA works in 28 of them. NPA is Implementing a Humanitarian Disarmament Programme in Manicaland with offices in Mutare, Zimbabwe and is looking for dynamic people to Join the organization. Job Description

• Plan and coordinate the medical evacuation procedures.
• Ensure that the trauma kit is always complete
• Make sure a high standard of hygiene is maintained in the field camps and operations site.
• Provide medical assistance to NPA MA staff in the field.
• Assist the team leaders and supervisors to keep good relations and psychological atmosphere on the team (e.g. Moral support, psychological interviews etc.)
• Provide the Senior medic with monthly and incident reports
• Submit the documents regarding treatment of staff and others to the Senior Medic
• Other tasks assigned by the Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 5 ‘O’ level subjects including mathematics and English
• Holder of Diploma in Registered General Nursing/ Certificate in Primary care Nursing.
• Must have a valid practicing certificate.
• At least 2 years working experience in an emergency care environment.
• Must be willing to work in camping environment in a remote rural setup.
• Class 4 driver’s is an added advantage.
