The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable, and high‑performance network infrastructure across our on‑premise and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design: Planning and deploying Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and cloud‑integrated architectures.
- Performance Optimisation: Monitoring and tuning network performance to ensure high availability and efficiency for critical applications.
- Network Security: Configuring and managing VPNs, firewalls, and encryption protocols.
- Implementing best‑practice measures to secure network assets and data.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, hardware faults, and routing problems.
- Providing technical support for complex or escalated network incidents.
- Automation & Scripting: Developing scripts to automate routine tasks such as backups, patching, device configuration, and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco routers and switches
- In‑depth knowledge of IPSec, SSL/TLS, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Experience with SD‑WAN
- Cloud networking skills (AWS or Azure)
- Programming/scripting for network automation (e.g., Python, Ansible)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is mandatory.
- AWS/Azure certifications are an added advantage.
