Job Description

• Mining engineer with extensive short term planning experience of not less than 8 years.

• Should be Familiar with Board and pillar mining method and its variations.

• Conversant with Datamine and Vulcan mining software.

• Mine Plan & Layout & Infrastructure.

• Liaise with rock engineer on mining parameters and the strata control protocols and their incorporation into the mining plan.

• Generation of the mine depletion schedule.

• Equipment selection and matching .

• Cut-off grade management.

• Capex budgeting and volume and mass budgeting for the various work schedules.

• To be part of the feasibility study team to provide input under the area of expertise.

Qualification

BSc Hons in Production Engineering or relevant Qualification
