An opportunity has arisen at our Zimbabwe Offices for a vibrant, outgoing, highly organised individual, who is excellent at multi-tasking, forging beneficial networks and can work under pressure with minimum supervision to join our Operations Team as a MARKETING OFFICER – TRAINING DEPARTMENT The primary focus of the role is to market the institute’s training activities, support the management team, as well as delivering a quality service to the students enrolled in the programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Effectively marketing the Institute’s membership, professional & in-house programs to grow our client/student database
– Organising events in line with the Institute’s activities
-Coming up with strategies and initiatives which can drive the growth of the Training department and meet the needs of potential and existing clients
-Interacting and maintaining liaison between members & students with the Institute
-Coordinating academic services, which include an effective registration and admission process for students.
-Liaising with all relevant stakeholders, including, lecturers and students, partners, service providers with regards to running of programmes at the Institute
-Maintaining the academic calendar per programme, detailing the modules, module dates, lecturers, students and the appropriate classes for the lectures.
-Maintaining module attendance registers and records in respect of all lectures run.
-Providing student support and assistance
-Ensuring total customer satisfaction in all the Institutes services.
-Producing ad-hoc and monthly department reports
-Appointing module writers, lecturers, examiners and moderators for programs
-Coordinating the training of programs
-Planning and Setting of dates for all Examinations
-Venue reservations for lectures and examinations
-Coordinating examiners in examination setting, moderation and marking
-Quality control of examination papers, results and certificates
-Generating examination papers, results and certificates once final checks and balances have been made
-Processing appeals for remarks and exemptions and recommending to the Registrar for approval
-Coordinating invigilation of examinations.
-Invoicing, reconciling accounts and relationship management for key clients with the Finance & Admin
REQUIREMENTS
-Degree in Marketing or equivalent from a recognized Institution
-Relevant work experience.
-Be ready to travel and work beyond normal working hours if and when necessary.
-Valid Passport
-Valid light vehicle driver’s license
