POSITION: Management Accountant X1

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets and financial forecast to aid strategic decision making.
2. Perform detailed cost and variance analysis and produce cost control reports.
3. Monitoring reserves analyse short term and long-term liquidity plans, plan and ensure adequate funding for ongoing operational and CAPEX requirements.
4. Implement accounting policies and the processing of accounting transactions.
5. Preparing tax remittances and attending to audits.
6. Maintaining asset register.
7. Managing payroll function and petty cash.
8. Develop pricing policies and models for company products.
9. Maintaining professional contact with company stakeholders.
10. Making recommendations and giving advice to the board through senior management on financial matters.
11. Any other accounting duties that may be assigned by superiors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 5 “O” Levels including Maths, English and Science.
2. Accounting degree/higher national diploma from an accredited university/college.
3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
4. Must be proficient in IT and with hands-on skills in Pastel, Belina, Ms Office, Access and Publisher.
5. Minimum 3years work experience.
