Our client in Harare is looking for an IT Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the FMCG Manufacturing industry. They are seeking to appoint a highly experienced IT Manager to lead and modernise its technology function within a large-scale manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for driving ERP excellence, digital transformation, and the practical application of AI-powered business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the IT function within a complex FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Managing, optimising, and supporting enterprise-wide ERP systems.
- Driving ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
- Designing and implementing AI-driven business solutions to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and automation.
- Aligning IT strategy with business and manufacturing objectives.
- Ensuring systems reliability, cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Managing IT vendors, budgets, and internal teams.
- Providing strategic leadership on digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an IT Manager within large FMCG manufacturing environments.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems, including full-cycle ERP implementations.
- Strong working knowledge of AI technologies and hands-on experience implementing AI-based business solutions.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, production processes, and supply chain operations.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
