Information Security Analyst – Steward Bank 1946 views

Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates are invited to apply for the position of Information Security Analyst which has arisen in Technology Services Department.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the IS Processes, Risk and Governance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among others:

• Maintaining an effective information security monitoring system
• Monitoring and reporting on information security events
• Identifying and responding to information security events
• Investigating and responding to potential and actual security breaches
• Assisting in cyber threats mitigation and control
• Monitoring application and logical security of Bank systems
• Ensuring continuous improvement of information security processes
• Prepares reports on the information security profile of the bank

• Skills and Experience

• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication,
• 1+ years in information security or cyber security
• Knowledge of technical security controls (IDS/IPS/Firewalls, etc.)
• Knowledge of defence-in-depth principles and network security principles
• Strong working knowledge of Operating Systems, Active Directory, LDAP, databases and cyber security principles
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access control methods.
• Security testing tools use and result analysis (Nessus, Metasploit, Burp/ZAP, Kali, etc.)

• Educational Qualifications
• First Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related qualification.
• Information Security qualification (CISA/CISM/CISSP/CEH/SSCP).
