Wanted is an ICT Administrator for an Engineering Consulting company. The ICT Administrator manages and maintains the organisation’s ICT infrastructure and services, including:

• Computer user support and training; attending to ad hoc computer user requests and queries; maintaining ICT records and registers; and enforcing ICT security.
• Setup, manage, and support LAN networks; monitor and troubleshoot Internet links; checkpoint firewall configuration, support, and monitoring; IP PABX configuration, maintenance, and support; and CCTV and Security Alarm support as necessary.
• Software and Hardware installations, support and maintenance. Engineering software applications licensing, patching and updating. Computer Hardware Upgrades and troubleshooting. Corporate website updating. Malware software updating and monitoring.
• Setting up, operating, and maintaining large-format printers, plotters, and scanners; printing and scanning large-format engineering documents.
• Setup and administration of Windows, Linux, and NAS servers; data backup and restores for computer users; corporate admin and technical Project Data Archiving.
• Microsoft 365 email accounts setup and administration. SharePoint site management. Cloud services support.
• Liaising with ICT contractors, suppliers and service providers.

Qualifications, Experience and Desired Attributes

• A BSc degree in Technology or a relevant Engineering field.
• It is advantageous to have a recognised certification in Networking, Server Technology, Cyber Security, Database systems, or Cloud computing.
• Five years or more post-graduation working experience in an ICT environment.
• A self-motivated professional, honest and ethical individual who can work and deliver expected outcomes without supervision.
• Willing to work outside regular hours when necessary.
