Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, commission and maintain hydraulic systems used in mining and processing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic faults involving pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, hoses and hydraulic power units.
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for hydraulic equipment.
- Monitor hydraulic system performance and recommend improvements.
- Interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
- Supervise hydraulic installation, maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide technical support during commissioning of mining and mineral-processing machinery.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical and automation engineers.
- Maintain engineering and maintenance records.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
