HOUSING, COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL SERVICE OFFICER

Applications are invited from suitable qualified and experienced persons for the post of Housing, Community and Social Services Officer.

• Responsible for Administration of Housing, Community & Social Service Department and applications of relevant by-laws.
• Ensure peaceful and orderly management and control of council Residential/Commercial/Industrial properties.
• House rental records
• Conducting interviews with public on housing issues
• Supervision of junior staff

Person Specification

• A Degree from a recognized university in Administration, Local Government or Social Science
• At least 3 years post qualification experience in middle management in an administrative or social science position, Local Government experience is an added advantage.
• At least 30 years and mature
• A citizen of Zimbabwe
• A clean criminal record
• A clean record of service with in the local government fraternity.
