A vacancy has arisen within 263Chat for position of Health Journalist.

The position requires a dynamic person with experience working for an online publication.

The ideal candidate should have experience in and a passion for covering the health beat.The ideal candidate  will cover a wide range of health care and related issues within the Zimbabwe borders.  263Chat is looking for someone With a appreciation Of Zimbabwe’s health sector, legislative framework and public policy. The Health Journalist should be able to identify and report on the country’s health trends and uncover issues that no one is or has reported about,

We are looking a person the following attributes:

• High-quality writing, reporting and/or editing skills.
• Ability to build relationships with important sources.
• Knowledge of digital media and health journalism,
• Deadline – oriented time management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or better in journalism, English or similar field.
• At least 2 years of experience in health journalism.
• Experience working with WordPress is a must.
