General Accountant :
A start-up company involved in the distribution of FMCGs, with a regional focus, requires candidates for the above position. Only candidates with a track record of outstanding achievements, extra ordinary performers, need to apply.
Duties And Responsibilities
Development, monitoring and implementation of all account processes of the company and production of reports thereto.
Appropriate recording of accounting and related transactions.
Ability to use and familiarity with several accounting packages.
Analyzation , forecasting and evaluation of financial requirements of the organization.
Undertaking and supervision of all regular accounting processes on a monthly basis.
Organization of all financial programs and ensuring compliance with budgetary requirements.
Assisting all departments in account reconciliation processes on monthly basis.
Management of company assets.
Administration of all bank reconciliations processes on a monthly basis.
Designing and preparation of audit schedules for external audit purposes.
Account reconciliation, tax calculations.
Management of statutory compliance.
Undertaking of Company Secretarial Services.
Qualifications And Experience
Must possess at least an accounting degree from a reputable university. A master’s degree is an added advantage.
Must possess at least 5 years’ experience, close to this position, or in a similar position.
Must be exceptionally talented and able to start immediately.
