Job Title: FUNDS OFFICER x1 – (Harare)
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the General Manager, the position will be responsible for providing analytical insights, managing fund performance, and supporting strategic fund management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly fund performance and financial reports.
- Conduct data-driven fund analysis, including trend analysis and forecasting.
- Analyse contribution structures and develop proposals for contribution rate reviews.
- Evaluate benefit structures and utilisation trends and recommend improvements.
- Perform data analytics to identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assess product performance and recommend strategies to improve fund sustainability.
- Analyse synergies with related stakeholders and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Provide analytical insights and strategic recommendations to support fund management decisions.
- Be able to create dashboards, use graphs and other presentation tools to present data in the best possible format.
Requirements
- Data Analytics or related degree (business analytics focus) Statistics, Health Economics, Actuarial Science.
- At least 3 years’ experience in an operations management position or similar.
- Good project management and business reporting skills.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Accounting and Finance background is an added advantage.
- Ability to promote efficiency toward achieving business objectives and profitability.
- Advanced knowledge of best business practices.
- Experience with budgets, financial reports, and monitoring expenses.
