Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Management of the general ledger, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT, Income Tax, and PAYE filings.
• Coordinating internal and external audit processes.
• Assisting in budget preparation and variance analysis to support departmental decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification: Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage, or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations.
• Attributes: High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
