Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Assisting in revenue collection and debt recovery activities
  • Assist in budget preparation and control using Local Authority Digital Systems (LADS).
  • Capturing financial transactions in SAGE Evolution
  • Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Assisting in VAT calculations and reconciliations
  • Supporting PAYE, NSSA, and other statutory submissions
  • Support debtor and supplier reconciliations
  • Help maintain accurate debtor and creditors aging schedules

Requirements

  • At least 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English and Mathematics or Accounts.
  • Honours Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Management or any other commerce degree, or Full CIS, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
  • Knowledge of SAGE Evolution and Local Authority Digital Systems (LADS).
  • Public Sector or Local Authority accounting experience is an an added advantage.
