Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of the Finance and Administration functions.
- Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
- Manage procurement, logistics, and administrative operations to support organizational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor teams to promote excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with ZIMRA for taxation purposes and perform the duties of the Public Officer of the Office of the Master.
- Manage enforcement of compliance with corporate governance issues, resource planning and program budgeting.
- Plan and coordinate all Master of High Court events e.g. interviews, training sessions, conferences, etc.
- Manage stores inventory.
- Formulate the Strategic Plan for the Finance and Administration department.
- Develop and review administration policies and procedures.
- Ensure adequate distribution of resources within the Office of the Master.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (a Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounting is a prerequisite).
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA is desirable.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in Finance and Administration, with 3 years at senior management level.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, corporate governance, and administrative systems.
- Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills.
