Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill in the position of Extension Officer x 2. The successful candidates will be based in Chegutu

PERSON AND ROLE SPECIFICATIONS
• To provide technical support to poultry growers ensuring adherence to company standards and practices
• Ensure all grower husbandry follow the company SOP procedures
• Provide technical assistance to growers through training and mentorship approach
• Visit growers and provide reports to growers as per company documentation procedure
• Carry out inspections and ensure that growers are approved and cleared for placement
• Ensure that growers attain targeted mortality, FCR and weight standards as specified by the company
• Carry out vaccinations
• Communication of all activities to growers
• Ensure proper batch card recording and feed reconciliations
• Collection of production data as specified by the company
QUALIFICATIONS
• Certificate/Diploma in Agriculture from a reputable institution
• Class 3 drivers licence
• 2-3 years’ experience in extension
• Experience in dealing with poultry growers
